The Golden Flower Hotel is a chic, stylish addition to the area and was opened in late 2008. From its stylish pop art exterior, to its glass and chrome lobby, this is certainly an impressive hotel.
The 193 rooms are chic, modern, and have interesting architectural flourishes, like curved walls, and plasma TVs. Naturally, there is Internet Wifi in all the public areas.
There is an excellent Chinese restaurant, bar, karaoke, and a coffee house.
The pool on the top floor offered an interesting view of the surrounding mountains, and the nearby Masjid Raya. The Golden Flower has its own Spa.
The walks around this Hotel will thrill history and Art Noveu buffs. Pasar Baru is also nearby. Expect this hotel to be a hit with Asian travelers on a shopping spree.
Overall, the Golden Flower offers top-notch accommodation. It lacks the atmosphere of the Savoy Homann, but after all, staying in a historic building is not everyones’ cup of tea.
